Honestly - I’m a bit chunky and very pasty. I don’t get out much. And I think these are helping to change that. They’re extremely comfy. They require a little bit of break in but honestly I feel like I can take these anywhere. I bought the Nubuck leather flops and they’re classy enough to wear out to dinner (in Florida atleast) but rugged enough to wear hiking and fishing. I’ve gone on a few (6 or 7) short hikes with these and they’ve held up extremely well. The traction is great and the construction is fantastic too. They definitely feel like they can withstand a few beatings. Additionally the sizing strap is unique and worked for me. My feet are kinda wide and fat so that adjustment strap is really cool.

I have one critique of the flops. I wish the leather was a bit more premium. For the price the nubuck simply wasn’t as high quality as I was hoping for. It’s still decent but I don’t know, for $130 I was thinking it was going to be really nice. To be fair, this is my first pair of nubuck shoes so maybe they’ll break in really nice but my first impression for leather quality is like 7/10. I do like how they look though.

Another thing I wish I considered before buying these was how often I use these for fishing. I’ve recently got into fishing and these are the perfect fishing shoe. They’re easy to slip on, they’re comfy and they’re rugged enough that I can comfortably wade in them without slicing my foot open on oyster beds. The problem is that I wish I went with their…
