So look, I haven’t thoroughly tested these sandals yet. Straight out of the box these things are gorgeous. I love them. I’ve been wearing them around the house dreaming of the day when I can put them to the test. The first week of March, I’ll be taking them on a backpacking trip in Hawaii. I’ll have to update my review after that. My guess is they will be the best sandals I’ve ever had. Stay tuned.

A week into using them straight out of the box they are comfy from the start. Have gone through 2 pairs of earth runners and loved them but always dealt with pain at top of foot near the toe post on full long days of use. The design of the top strap makes these not hurt, having 2 pieces of linking material gives more space for the flesh at the webbing of the toes. One star reduced because I wish the foot bed was a better “foot” shape: wider at the big toe along inner arch. Probably size down if you are between. I’m a 9-9.5 in womens and took the 8M/9W. Boyfriend is usually 10.5 and took size 10M/11W. We love that they are slip on and super adjustable.

These are great sandals. They don’t slip on your foot or on the ground. They’re light and they dry quickly. I like that there is no strap across the top of the toes, unlike most other sandal designs as well.

Sometimes I wish they had a little more cushion or arch support when I’m just standing around, but I think that’s what the 3D version is for.

The sizing was perfect for me when using the sizing chart.
