The Pro has been a fantastic upgrade from my 7 year old original Cairns. Aside from the awesome tread and more forgiving footbed, the locking back strap is a massive improvement over the velcro. The velcro backstrap on my old pair eventually just stopped functioning, which is main reason I went for the Pro - and I am super happy I did. Only Pro from here on out. Note that the modern Cairn fit is a half or full size smaller than the original version. I originally purchased 11 (like all my regular shoes) and I had to return for the 12 - which fits perfect and leaves room to stretch my toes. Thankfully Bedrock made it really easy to exchange.

My friend Zach has a pair and I have wanted a pair for as long as I have seen them on his feet. The first pair I tried on wasn’t a good fit. So I tried again! Little bit of rub from the stitching on the sides but something I will work through. I think it’s just a matter of making some more adjustments.

They pretty sandals and I am so looking forward to warmer weather!

I purchased 3 MORE pairs of Bedrocks this Christmas because we had 3 members of the family who did not yet own a pair, and those of us who LOVE our Bedrocks decided they needed to be in our club. They quickly discovered why we love them! Between us, we have hiked hundreds and hundreds of miles in mountains, through streams, in the desert, in the jungle, and on the beach in these sandals and we love them! They are comfortable, they last really well, and they are as close to barefoot as you can get! Can't wait for summer, because they're all we wear!
