For footbed's sake, do not leave your sandals or clogs in extreme heat (e.g. hot car) and intense direct sun exposure for durations (e.g. sunny porch). Our ultralight EVA/PU foam footbeds can warp if left exposed in these environments. To clean your sandals, hand wash with a brush, water, and your favorite eco-friendly soap! Let them dry in a shaded environment or briefly in the sun. Do not machine wash. To keep your hook and loop heel-strap long lasting, use side buckle adjustment for every-day in and out, and occasionally remove grit and debris from heel-strap by scrubbing with a wire brush.

When the tread wears down, ship them back to our Missoula shop. We replace the Vibram(R) outsole and return them.

    Love these!

    I love these sandals so much! They took some getting used to, as the design is more freeing than any other shoe I’ve ever worn. But now they are my go tos. I used to only like flip flops, I had both chacos and tevas if I had to be strapped in, but didn’t care for either of them. These shoes are so light and free like flip flops but have 4wheel drive for adventures. Best of both worlds! I’ve put em thru the ringer and they have held up. Highly recommend

    Best sandal

    Brilliant webbing adjustability design and toe stability! I have tried many active sandals and found I had to compromise fit, feel or performance. These have it all with flexible and relatively minimal sole and quick on/off! This is my first pair and I’m wearing them all the time. Love

    Pleasantly Surprised!

    Not my first pair of sandals, as I use them for run recovery, short treks, and the like. These were just about perfect. I was a little doubtful, as there was no comfortable margin of extra space, but the placement of the webbing and such was exactly where I needed them to be. Essentially....no adjustments required. Oh, sure, I have to loosen and tighten the rear strap when putting them on or taking them off, but everything else is solid. The flexibility and stability is to be expected by sandals of this thickness and retention system...but the Cairn absolutely delivers. When I need another pair, this is now going to be the first place I look.
