These are my third pair of the classic LT sandals. I wore holes in the first two pairs using them so much. The straps held up amazingly and grip with the vibram soles remain intact despite the excessive wear i put on them. I recently replaced an old pair with the new version 2026. The fit was loose and i could not get them to stay on for running or even walking the dog. Customer service worked with me and even replaced the straps on them adding the old "bike tube" rubber to parts of the strap. They now fit better than any other pair. The new footbed is soft and responsive with excellent grip as always. Thanks for making a great product and standing behind it.

I can’t express how much I love these sandals. They have just the right amount of adjustability. I wear them almost every day. I walk and workout in them. They’re very comfortable and fill the “flip flop” need minus the toe gripping and flipping and flipping. If there was a neutral/light tan strap version I would be alllllll over it. They seem to always be out of stock so I check back from time to time hoping I can snag another pair!

I met one of the owners here in Jacksonville Florida about 10 Years ago.Told me, he and a buddy were building sandals and I should check them out. I fell in love with the classic LT. Purchased other styles,but nothing satisfied like the LT. My last purchase was at least 2 years ago and unfortunately one of the sandals blew out of my boat while traveling down the highway. I did not notice till I arrived home with only one sandal. I still had original package they were shipped in, so I sent back the one sandal along with a check in the amount of 40.00 dollars for one matching sandal. I have not received any response. For the past year I have wanted to order another pair but they are not available. I think the classic LT is the best sandal ever made!

I have myriad flat footwear from several brands and the Classic LT remains my number one. No other sandal can match its comfort, light weight, durability, and fit. The straps are funky @ 1st sight, but are simple to dial-in, requiring little readjustment. Zero blisters, even on a 15Km day. Due to lack of stock, I also purchased the Cairns EVO to give them a try, but they do not enjoy the same flexibility nor lightness of the Classic LT. A 5Km walk in them yielded blisters and the Velco straps weirdly fuzzied out soon after purchase. I used the buckle to make adjustments per Bedrock recommendation, so the Velcro was left alone. I mostly wear shorts, so I don't get it. Maybe others have better luck with them.

As for customer service, Colin is the best! He exemplifies a dedication to customer loyalty that all companies should aspire to.

Beware to check sizing prior to ordering...I've worn a size 10 for decades and all of my footwear is size 10, except for Bedrock...the only size 11s I have ever purchased. YMMV.

Pic Two: Weird fuzz on Cairns EVO strap: <~1,000Km

The first pair I owned had a textured and grippy insole stitched to the foot bed which the new version lacks. Instead they've left the foot bed as bare rubber that gets gunky from sweat, dead skin, natural oils, and dirt. Due the their ability to hang onto that foot crud so well, they become extremely slippery when they first get wet. So while the outsole still provides good slip resistance, your foot will slip around in the sandal and the paracord between your toes digs in (especially painful walking downhill) until you've walked far enough, and they've become wet enough to wash the gunk off the foot bed. The removal of the insole layer on the foot bed also removed the laminar reinforcement it provided, resulting in the new version being too flexible. This causes them to constantly fold under your foot if you are walking in water, grass, sand, other loose ground where the toe may dig in (or heel if you are back stepping), despite how tightly adjusted the straps are. They also removed the rubber lining on the straps and switched to a softer material compounding the instability issue. Aside from that, the new version has been holding up well and I've managed to avoid face-panting in them so far.

In the attached photos, the old version is on the left, new on right. You'll notice that the old version has a memory to it and is curled upward as you would want it, while the new version lays flat; the strap on the new version is also considerably thinner material. The end…
