For footbed's sake, do not leave your sandals or clogs in extreme heat (e.g. hot car) and intense direct sun exposure for durations (e.g. sunny porch). Our ultralight EVA/PU foam footbeds can warp if left exposed in these environments.
- To keep your oiled leather clogs clean we recommend using a brush for general care. A suede brush or toothbrush works great. To clean/care for the outsole you can use a stiff bristled brush and a natural soap.
- For liquid stains you can use raw rubber or an eraser to buff the stain out. You can also dilute distilled white vinegar and spot treat as needed with a soft cloth or brush. Let them dry completely at room temperature and repeat spot treatment as needed.
- To increase the longevity of your leather clogs you can store them in a breathable fabric bag during seasons they are not in use.
- Leather can be oiled every 6 months to prolong life. Perhaps more often with heavy use.
This pair is Re-Soleable for life.
When the tread wears down, ship them back to our Missoula shop. We replace the Vibram(R) outsole and return them.

Got them for kicking around camp, short hikes (I've gone up to 4 miles), light yard work, and off-road driving where I'll be in and out of the vehicle on rough terrain, but not enough to justify a full boot. They've been great for that purpose, and they're super comfortable so I've worn them more than I thought I would for running errands, walking the dog, etc. Basically any situation where I'd normally wear a sandal, but it's either too cold or rough to have the toes out. Very well made so should hold up for the long haul. I have two pairs of the cairn evo sandals, and they fit very similar to those. I wear 11.5 to 12 in most shoes depending on the brand, but I've almost always sized up to 13 for sandals (regardless of brand). I wear 13 in the Cairn Evo's, so got 13 with the Mountain Clogs and the fit is perfect. If you're comparing to 'normal' shoes/boots these run slightly wider and shorter. If you're trying to find a comfortable, durable clog in full time sport mode, look no further.

I was apprehensive about buying such expensive footwear for everyday use. Worth every penny. Comfortable immediately out of the box. Goes great with everything I wear. Surprisingly comfortable all day on my feed. Would recommend to anyone, including multiple pairs.
I am normally a size 10 but took all the recommendations from previous reviews and ordered a size 11. So...yes(?)...they fit true to size.

So supportive, convenient and comfy out of the box, all around goodness with the generous footbed which I found to be absolutely true to size barefoot or with cotton footie socks. Finding myself looking forward to donning these at every chance, wearing them 80% of the time right here in good ol' Montucky; walking the dog on gravel road and trail, around the house, working in the yard. And they seem very durable. I'm loving every aspect of the mountain clogs! Kudos Bedrock!
