I got these for a canoeing/camping trip in the Boundary Waters, and these sandals served me well—they felt comfortable and secure on my feet in water and on land. They gripped the terrain well both wet and dry. I could really see and feel the quality and thoughtfulness of the design. I only docked a star bc these puppies were pricey $$$!! I guess you get what you pay for, but anytime I recommend these it'll come with that caveat.

I have a review in here from 2021 and they were my first pair, which I need to have resoled. I have since bought 4 other pairs and they all are the best sandal I have owned. I use them as my daily foot wear and rarely have other foot wear on my feet. I work for the airlines and travel extensively and these are always in my bag. You know I wont leave home without them. Mine have been down several rivers and over many cobbled streets and winding paths. I cannot think of a better travel sandal or multipurpose foot wear. These will not let you down unless you are going down into a cave or a river.
