- Lyndsay R.Verified Buyer6 hours agoRated 5 out of 5 starsFavorite shoe I own
When I went into a fully barefoot lifestyle several years ago I was introduced to Bedrocks. Having really wanted to get into another popular hiking sandal in the past, (but was prevented due to blisters) I immediately loved the look of them! After getting my first pair of Cairn pros and wearing them enough to get them re soled, I also fell in love with their comfort, heartiness and versatility. I love them so much I recently invested in another pair. I tell people all the time that Bedrocks are my favorite shoes I own!!

Took these on a thru hike as my camp shoe, but wanted something that could also be a backup hiking shoe. The are lightweight and solid with great traction. They also dry really fast and were not uncomfortable wearing wet.

I went without a pair of bedrocks since July of 25, 1 year ago. When I finally purchased a second pair because the summer months had returned I forgot how much I missed them. Comfy great in and out of water and I get to keep my feet free without ever feeling like I'm gonna lose my shoes.

I’ve spent nearly a decade in the barefoot shoe world, and I can say this without hesitation: the Bedrock Cairn Evo is the best sandal I’ve ever worn. My only complaint is that I somehow waited six years to buy them.
About six years ago, while I was in Hawaii, a tour guide told me these sandals were incredibly good. That stuck somewhere in the back of my mind, but I never pulled the trigger. Well, I finally bought a pair about a month ago, and I can honestly say these are the best sandals in the business right now.
I recently went on vacation with my family, and my goals were simple: spend time with everyone, get in a few workouts, hike, swim, and attend my parents’ 50th anniversary dinner. The entire time, I wore one pair of shoes: these sandals.
I did an outdoor running workout in them. I went into the creek in them. I showered, got dressed in nice linen attire, and wore them to dinner. I hiked in the mountains. I wore them to the pool. I had backup running shoes and dress shoes with me, but I never even used them.
The strap system is excellent. You can keep them comfortable and casual during the day, but when it’s time to hike over rocks, move through water, or do something more active, you can lock them down and know they’ll stay secure on your foot. They’re also easy enough to slip on and off when needed.
To me, this feels like one of the best barefoot experiences available because the sandal forms so well to your foot while still giving you the right amount of…
