    Beautifully Made But Needs Work

    I ordered the non-leather Rockhound Sandal on release day, and I liked them so much that I immediately ordered the leather version as well.

    Unfortunately, the leather version has been a disappointment. The sandals are beautifully made and look fantastic, but they don’t perform nearly as well as the non-leather model. The arch support feels less pronounced, and the portion of the strap that sits beneath my arch is uncomfortable enough that I develop hot spots and would likely get blisters if I walked any significant distance in them.

    By comparison, I can wear the non-leather Rockhounds for extended periods without any discomfort. I’m hoping the leather version improves as it breaks in, but at this point I’m not very impressed—especially considering the premium price point.

    These puppies haven’t left my foot since they arrived. I have all the Bedrocks from the are my now favorite after the clogs.
