So first thing is that I did not size up. I am usually a 6.5/7 and i bought a 7. I have a wide foot but the 8 was still too roomy and there was a whole half inch of footbed material hangin out at the heel. I wear the 7 on the last/ second to last rung on the strap. I think you have to break these in slightly, a little stiff out the box.
-Not sure if the feel is different on the real suede or leather, but I don't love how the nylon interior feels on my bare feet- the original plan was to always wear with sock so that's fine.
-I was optimistic but I do not believe a hiking clog can be a thing--- This is likely all clogs but while i am walking on anything really other than hard/ clean surfaces, debris is without fail always flying inside!! rocks, mulch, grass etc
-Love the rubber dipped toe- they hold up to walking across a dewy lawn for a little before socks/ shoes get at all wet.
-i can walk in them all day, i find them a little warm in over 75/80 degree weather.

I got my girlfriend Birkenstock bostons for her birthday and she let me try them but I found it difficult to keep on while walking. The straps on the mountain clogs really help synch everything into place and the vibram soles add extra durability and grip. These are the best sandals I’ve ever owned and will probably buy another pair when these ones wear out.

So happy with these. More lightweight than I expected, which I love. I get compliments every time I wear them. So comfy. May have to get another pair! Took other reviewer’s advice and ordered a size up and they fit perfect.
