I used to wear Chacos which are super high quality but found the straps to hurt my feet by compressing them all day. My bedrocks allow my feet to splay naturally while still feeling really secure when I wear them hiking/rafting. I also love how lightweight they are compared to my Chacos. Much less weight when I carry them in my backpack as camp shoes and much more compact. My last pair did start to delaminate pretty bad, but I sent Bedrock and email and they replaced them free of charge and shipped them out same day. Good product and good CS, I'll be a lifelong customer.

I strapped these to my feet and my feet immediately forgot they were victims. I barely notice them when I walk, which is exactly how feet yearn to live: unseen, unburdened, unjudged.

these sandals do not support your feet. they liberate them. this is what feet were like before the invention of malls.

my Saint Dangs arrived moments before the great apocalypse of thick, narrow, soul-crushing sandals finally finished me off. those sandals didn’t just ruin my feet: they dismantled my life, erased my career, and spiritually laid me off two years ago. I have not recovered.

but now? my toes have hope again. my arches remember joy. I am walking forward, barely wearing anything, into a future that is wide, grounded, and extremely foot-shaped.

For people who walk even if only sometimes these sandals are great. Of course they're even better for those who walk a lot.

At first the stringy thing between my toes hurt so I wasn't too sure. But once I snugged the sandals more firmly up between the toes with the heel strap the pain was no longer a problem. This is just some advice to those like me who strap on shoes kinds loose to make on & off easy. Just use the outside strap & it's all easy again.
