With other brands, a wet footbed means feet slide so much that my toes come out of the strap. I’ve even had straps break or pull out of the sole. No problem with Bedrocks. I hiked Iceland’s Laugavegur trail in July in Bedrock’s combined with neoprene socks. While everyone was stopping to remove shoes, cross water, dry feet, and put on socks and shoes,… I just bombed right through nonstop. The grip was good on glacial ice and lots of lava rocks. I’ll never carry shoes again. Super pleased!

I went with the more barefoot style bottoms on these and I love them hiking and every day. A little more challenging to use with my job in the river daily but they're holding up so far. The bottoms are just not as sturdy as my other pair so the current tends to grab and pull the sandal. Im still figuring out the best adjustments. My other pair has velcro but I have the best tan line!

These sandals are great! I have tried several other brands of sandals(Chaco, Teva, xero, etc). The problem I have had with all others is my foot shifting around when wet or on an incline. These are by far the most comfortable and secure pair I have tried. I can do anything in these that I could do in a pair of trail runners. I have had no slipping or foot shifting, even while wet. Great product!
