These are my second pair of Bedrocks and I couldn't be happier! I love the PRO design and the colors that are now available. I'm planning to wear barefoot/minimalist sandals and footwear all this year and bedrocks are my go-to, multi purpose sandal. I'm testing out the other minimalist sandal brands, and while they all have different features, Bedrocks give me significant comfort for all day wear regardless of the activity. My favorite feature is the sole/footbed. I know I can wear my Bedrocks outdoors in nature or walking around the city. They are thick and durable enough that I get minimalist freedom without sacrificing comfort and durability. Great product and I can't wait to order my 3rd pair!

I've been wearing minimalist sandals almost exclusively for nearly the past decade, but this is my first pair from Cairn.

Sandals typically suffer from one of three issues (isolated or combined) - a slippery footbed, a poor strap system that doesn't lock the sandal sufficiently to your foot, or a horrible, horrible break in period.

Prior to Cairns I was an Earth Runners fan - the hemp foot bed didn't slide and the locking system was good, but the break in period was always a terrible two weeks. When my last pair wore out, I was hesitant to switch as I'd rather suffer than deal with slippery sandals - I run, cycle, hike, everything in them, so ensuring they don't slide around under me is more important than a couple weeks of suffering.

The moment I put on the Cairns I knew it was going to be my new go to. The footbed is textured and the locking mechanism is EXCELLENT, so despite my sweaty feet, I don't slide around in them. The straps are extremely comfortable from the start - there's a brief break in on the first few days that's really only noticeable if you really crank down on the straps, but its not beyond what I'd call a slight discomfort.

Out of the box, this has been the best sandal I've worn yet. My one criticism/request would be for a wider option for those with very mobile toes, as when I find myself gripping the ground with my feet my pinky toe will spill over the edge - though this is an issue I run into with every sandal I've tried thus far.
