I bought these shoes to replace an old pair of chacos that had finally hiked their last hike. I was worried that the toe loop would take forever to break in based on other reviews I'd read, but I've been wearing them from day one with zero issue. I usually wear a women's 5 in sandals to get a fit I like, and these sandals are probably about 1/2" too long on both ends, but I'll probably just cut it down to fit better eventually. The straps themselves fit my feet fine. Grateful that these are wide enough for my feet, too - I wear pretty much only barefoot shoes and my toe spread is pretty wide. The heel is a little bit wide for me, but only barely - I have a pretty narrow heel - it still feels very secure and comfortable. Love the hook and loops on the back too, they seem pretty bomb proof. Also, the grip in water is so good! Way more grippy than other sandals on slippery wet rock!
