Follow these instructions to take care of your Bedrocks and maximize their life-span:
Avoid leaving your sandals in extreme heat (e.g. hot car) and intense direct sun exposure for durations (e.g. sunny porch). Our ultralight Vibram® sole material can warp/shrink if left exposed in these environments.
To clean your Bedrocks, handwash with a brush, water, and your favorite eco-friendly soap! Let them dry in a shaded environment or briefly in the sun. Do not machine wash.

I have owned a pair of Cairns for about 4 years now, and so I decided it was time to treat myself for a fresh pair to alternate with. I bought the classic model this time, and after slipping them on, they became my new favorites. They are so light, noticebly lighter than any other sandal I have owned, but also feel secure. Strap adjustment is a breeze and all I have to do is just slide down the heel strap to get my feet in and go. Easy to wash, too, as I have already gotten them muddy a few times. I love the texture of the footbed, and I feel like they make my feet sweat less than the Cairn footbed - its a different texture and material for sure. I try to keep my wardrobe minimal, but am already wanting the purple strap pair as well (I got the brown pattern strap).
I bought the classic sandals quite a few years ago and pretty much lived in them every summer. So finally had to grab a new pair, I also got the pro ones too. I used them at the beach, when I was fly fishing in rivers and ponds, hiking around and never had any issues.
Fantastic
I tell everyone who will listen — my favorite day of the year is when I pull my Bedrock sandals out of the closet for springtime. bliss! I just received my third pair of Bedrock Classics. Each pair has lasted about 2.5 to three years. And weirdly, I get loads of compliments on them! Like, there’s not much there to compliment… a sole, some barely-there straps… but people see something. A je ne sais quoi I guess? Regardless: walking, cycling, dressed down, even sometimes dressed up. I love them, everyone else seems to as well.
Sturdy, comfortable, appear durable(other reviews can speak to these lasting years). I am a size 11 and have fairly wide feet; the 12s work well.
