They are so so good. I love wearing them everywhere and they are exceptional in the river
Love the flip flop like toe thong and minimalist comfort for wearing around town. The arch wasn’t as pronounced as I was hoping and thus not as comfortable for hikes. Bummer that I can’t make them my go-to sandal for hiking and backpacking.
I've tried many brands, including Teva but no brand does it as good as bedrock. I was surprised how much it grip even in wet conditions (in the city or on the trail). I've bought the Cairn 3D pro. Also, the 3-way adjustment lets you find the perfect fit.
Long time sandal wearer: Teva, Chaco... These feel somewhere between the 2 but for all the right reasons. Now the Chaos feel like monsters trucks in comparison. These feel airy. I love the clip adjustment over Teva's Velcro. TIP: Many reviews say they are too small. I believe this is because the sizing chart uses your left foot. Most dominant limbs are larger. Flip over the paper or mirror if you are right footed. These fit perfect for me with this change.
One problem I have with reviews is it’s hard to do them after you’ve had the product for a good amount of time since the review always come so soon after ordering them. I’ve worn these, but haven’t really had a chance to really use them yet. But, I will say that I ordered them because a friend liked hers so much. My comparison is with Teva. The soles seem much better, and the tightening mechanism is great. That said they’re kind of hard in the sense that there is no padding. My Tevas are soft, these not so much. Not a bad thing per-say, and time will tell on that one. However, they do seem to need a break-in period. The webbing is pretty stiff, and it seems like getting wet and sweaty will help that over time. I also feel like I’ll need to let my great toe and next toe get a little callus since my feet are not used to that. They don’t feel like they’ll come off in the water, and I like the pattern on the planter part of the shoe, the part that contacts the bottom of the foot as they don’t feel like they’ll slide around. So, overall good, but we’ll see over time.
