These felt loose until I realized, they are meant to feel like you’re not actually wearing shoes, and the ground is magically really comfortable. They aren’t loose or floppy at all. My feet are so happy!
After wearing them for two days I woke the third not being able to walk on my left foot due to posterior tibial tendinitis. Sending them back.
This is a very atypical experience, we are reaching out to see if a different adjustment, different size, or different style footbed might work better for you.
Great sandals, going to be perfect for the trail and the river.
The quality is excellent. I'm having to get used to the the toe strap. The sewing holding it together rubbed on my foot and made it bleed. I've adjusted the clip, so the strap is in a different position. I'll see how it goes. It's a matter of breaking in no doubt. I guess the sewing might be more seamless. My foot isn't quite centered, the sandal might be a touch wide. I thought having the straps tight would close in the side supports. This is not the case. I'm a little worried my heel will wear in off center and speed up wear on the sole on one side. I had a pair of Luna sandals this happened to. One sided wear, and then your foot is always offset. Otherwise, I like them. They are also much lighter than the Lunas. Nice!
For as long as the seasons allow here in Minnesota, the Bedrock Cairn 3D Adventures are my go-to footwear. When the temps get cool, you bet I’m That Guy with socks and sandals. Whether I’m walking around the city, through the woods, on the bike, or in headed downstream in the packraft, these sandals don’t disappoint. Comfortable, resilient, & versatile! Everything footwear should be.
