Everything I’ve read about these sandals is true. They are comfortable, SECURE, and very low profile. They are well made with an amazing strap situation. They def have a look to them. How that look makes you feel is personal… but the quality is undeniable.
I had the original version of these for 3 years and wanted to get a fresh pair (the old ones were workhorses but had quite a bit of wear). I got the 3D footbed this time. It's certainly comfortable as a base. I was a little disappointed that there's an arch in the mid-sole, though it's very low. The sandal is still zero-drop, just with this small contour in the middle. I think I'll get used to it, but I wish I had known that before I bought it.
Everytime I wear them, it’s like I’m putting on a fresh pair of underwear after a shower, but for my feet.
I’ve been wearing them pretty consistently for a couple weeks so far, and have really thought they were amazing. I haven’t hiked in them yet and I haven’t boatrd in them yet. That will be the determining factor.
Out of the box… They were better that my Chaco sandals. I have the toe loop and foot version of Chaco and these are better by far. I gave my Chacos to BINLAW in FL and he hated them, and I can’t even wear my Chacos I have left. They hurt the arches etc etc… Bedrock is now my go-to. Olukai, Reef, keen, Chaco, and I’ve had them all, but BedRock… these are top performers. No more searching. Life is good. I have found foot Heaven.
