This will be long because I think my review requires context. I am a 72 year old active male. Have had an achilles tendon repaired twice and a hip replaced 3 years ago. I also have a knee with almost no cartilage. I bought these 1 year ago. I had a lot of trouble getting the fit and comfort that everyone races about dialed in. Would walk a mile and would have hot spots. Bedrock was superb at helping me. I ended up putting them in the wash machine for several cycles, putting wax on the straps and very slowly breaking then in along with adjusting the straps. Small adjustments made a big difference for me. In the beginning, I questioned my decision to get the 3D version. I am now happy that I did. The 3D does slightly limit the adjustability of the straps because your toes must be in a certain position. All that being said, after walking 3 miles on pavement, my right heel gets sore. These may be a little too minimal for me. Have yet to do a hiking trail with them. That will come this summer. Right now I am extremely happy with them because there are no hot spots. Amazingly comfortable with easy on and off. I will also add that I had concerns about the bungee between the toes. Getting comfortable with it was part of the strap adjustment process. So, even given that it took me a long time to get them adjusted, I would happily buy them again.
My first pair of Bedrocks and definitely not my last. The fit is great (USA 10.5 but ordered an 11) and they're cozzzyyyyy
Easy ordering and quick delivery. I’m a Chaco’s fan but I was looking for an alternative and these fit the bill. I haven’t taken them longer than 2 miles or so at a time but I can’t wait to take them camping. Easy to clean too. Will be wearing them all summer!
I’ve worn these sandals about a half a dozen times and haven’t quite gotten a feel for them yet. I’ve tried adjusting in multiple ways and still have found the comfort I was expecting. However, I like the overall fit and how securely they hold to my feet. Based on the durable feel of the sandal, the sole, straps, velcro, etc. they seem like they are quality and should last a good while. Overall, for the price point I feel they’re a little steep considering the mild discomfort when wearing them. But maybe I just have odd feet for these sandals? As I said in the title, time will tell. Hoping for the best!
I love to hike in these, so I decided to play a round of disc golf in them. They are one of the few pairs of shoes that don’t bother me after 18 holes. I loved playing in them so much that I immediately purchased a second pair of the PRO and I am hooked.
