Our Lifetime Sole Warranty

Optional Quick Fit Lacing System
Our new Quick Fit Lacing option integrates flat military spec webbing for use in our buckle adjustment system. The flat webbing makes adjusting sandal tightness and fit siginificantly easier, faster, and more intuitive. Choose the Quick Fit option for highest performance. Sizing
We design Bedrock Sandals to act as a second skin beneath your feet in order to achieve an authentic barefoot experience. Unlike conventional footwear, our sandals fit as closely to the outlines of your feet as possible. Please consult our sizing chart above to find your standard size. Our Custom sized sandal soles are hand cut (standard sizes are machine cut) and based on the foot tracings that you provide. They typically take a week to build and ship out once we recieve your tracings by email or the real mail. The vast majority of people's feet will fit happily in our standard sizes + they will arrive on your doorstep faster. For more sizing info consult our chart above.

Buckle Technology - Built with our Patent Pending buckle adjustment system that enables wearers to find a truly customized fit.

Quick Fit Lacing - We now use flat black webbing through the top of our buckle system which makes adjusting fit more intuitive and much faster.

Rubber Heel - Built with recycled bike tube rubber to create tempered elasticity in the heel. The elasticity makes these sandals fit comfortably and stay on your feet when you need them most.

6mm Vibram® Soles - Made from a non-traditional Vibram material, a hybrid sole composite with the lightness of neoprene and consistency of rubber. Considerably lighter than traditional rubber with the ability to mold to your feet over time.

Straps - Used in US Military parachutes. Quality tested and ultra-marathon tough. Now all our strap colors come in our Rugged style - ultra durable and work better with our buckle system.

What are the advantages of running and hiking in Bedrock Sandals?

Going "barefoot" with Bedrock Sandals helps strengthen feet, alleviate knee and back issues, and improve general health.

Does the strap between your big and second toe chaffe/iritate the skin?

When building our straps we press/fold the toe peice to reduce any chaffing. Over the past 2 years of building sandals we've found that few people experience any issues with iritation between the toes and those that do can relieve the irriation by strap adjustments.

Can Bedrock Sandals run on trails and roads alike?

Absolutely. Bedrock Sandals are rugged enough to run technical trails and minimalist enough to run roads with a true barefoot feel. We recommend to start out running on soft open trails to acclimate your feet to barefoot dynamics.

How does the buckle work to adjust fit?

Our Patent Pending buckle technology holds the strapping together while creating a multi-directional adjustment system. Twist the buckle to the outside of the foot to move the buckle up and down the thong strap. Twist the buckle to the inside of the foot to tighten the strapping.

I noticed the strap is exposed on the bottom. Will that wear out eventually?

In order to make Bedrocks as thin and minimalist as possible we mold the nylon strap into a durable plug now embedded into the vibram sole. Depending on ground surfaces these should last well over 500 miles. When worn down they can be remelted.

What about where the side straps hit the ground?

The side straps lift off the ground once the sandal is tightened on the foot. We have yet to wear through a side strap after 1,000+ miles.

The Bedrock Earthquakes have an elasticized rubber heel built from recycled bike tubing. The rubber heel makes finding a comfortable and secure fit easy. In particular it keeps the strap snug to your heel.
