Bedrock Sandals was started by two geologists fresh out of college with an idealistic vision of creating the ultimate minimalist footwear to match the ultimate outdoor lifetsyle. We started in 2011 with the novel idea building a sandal with nylon straps and a backpack buckle in lieu of the traditionally used huarache sandal knot and leather laces. Since our kickstarter in 2011 we have dedicated our company vision to creating performance and quality driven minimalist sandals - all in our small manufacturing facilities in the USA. After 3 years of product and company growth, we released our mature product line - Bedrock 2.0 - in August, 2014. We are dedicated to bringing our customers the best quality products, warranty, and customer service available on the market.
We are proudly based in Oakland, California where we manufacture Bedrock Sandals in our small Tree Fort Inspired Factory. Each year we donate one percent of our sales to help conserve and restore the environment through 1% for the Planet. In March 2013, after two years of improving and refining our sandal technology and materials, we introduced our "We Got You Covered" Rock Solid Warranty.
